Located across the street from the world famous Las Vegas Fashion Show mall, next door to the popular Venetian hotel and Sands Expo, its a sight to behold for the hundreds of thousands who pass by on a daily basis. Wynn Las Vegas is 50 stories tall, with 2,700 rooms, features 18 dining outlets, and 18-hole championship golf course, and 111,000 square foot casino, a spa and salon, designer retail boutiques and just under 5 acres of SYNLawn synthetic grass.

In an effort to enhance the look of the roadways in Los Angeles, the city of LA decided to look for an alternative to the colored concrete method they had been using in the past. Over time these concrete medians were deteriorating and had become an eye sore to passers-by. The city had been using concrete instead of natural sod in order to reduce maintenance costs and to save water due to the water crisis in California, however, by doing so it sacrificed the appearance.

Bonita Vista High School was faced with the inability to grow and maintain natural grass under a large tree located in a school common area and other outdoor lunch areas. The constant foot traffic from the students, tree roots and large shade coverage made the area near impossible to keep grass, let alone healthy green grass.

Building a new home in central Florida, the homeowner decided to explore alternatives to the typical concrete pavement usually surrounding pools. His desire was to create a warm inviting setting and to provide a safe environment for his young daughter. Knowing how kids love to run and play around the pool, he wanted something soft and less slippery than wet concrete.
